This week we will learn about shadows and how sunlight or light can make shadows. We will also have a fun Peter Pan day as we learn how he lost his shadow.

• Day 4 Shape Heart
• Day 5 Valentine Fun Day

February 14th is Valentine’s Day so we will spend this week discussing love and how we show each other we care. The children will have fun making valentine projects.

• Day 1 Happy Birthday to Me
• Day 2 Letter Rr
• Day 3 President’s Birthday
• Day 4 Color Pink
• Day 5 Birthday Party

This week it will be everyone's birthday! We will learn how we get older and grow each year. We will also learn about the President's birthdays that we celebrate in February.

☀ WEEK FOUR: THE HUMAN MOTOR

• Day 1 My Body Machine
• Day 2 Review Letters Pp, Qq, Rr, and Number 8
• Day 3 Dental Health
• Day 4 Healthy Foods
• Day 5 Exercise

Children need to learn at a young age how important it is to take care of our bodies. This week we will learn about healthy eating and exercise. We will also learn how our body works and how to take care of our teeth.

FEBRUARY CONCEPTS TAUGHT:

• Letters P, Q and R.
• Number 8.
• Shape Heart.
• Color Pink.
• The community helper is the Mail Carrier.
• Our fire drill is scheduled for Week One.
• Our tornado drill is scheduled for Week Four
